Simple Gray

Simple Gray is a minimalist WordPress theme we did a couple years ago. Having not touched it once in over a year, with the launch of Museum Themes, we figured it was time to revisit it. We’ll be revamping all our old free themes and officially releasing some of the ones we never got around to. Added features to Simple Gray are Twitter @anywhere hovercards, WordPress 3.0 menus, installation notes, Google’s Droid Sans web font, and some nice css3 shadows for browsers that can see them.

Vivarelli

A simple, minimalist, Swiss graphic design inspired portfolio theme.

Hybrid Core

Hybrid Core is a WordPress theme development framework for creating solid parent themes. It allows theme developers to forget about all the complex functionality and dive straight into coding their theme’s HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

This framework’s code is completely free and open source. You can use it for creating publicly-downloadable themes, client work, or even a commercial theme business.

Middle Name: Danger

Middle Name: Danger is the brother to Baby SweetTooth. It’s got the same magazine-style layout and multiple widgetized sidebars with optional video embed and FeedBurner integration. In fact, everything cool about Baby SweetTooth is there in Middle Name: Danger, the only difference is the boy colors vs. the pink and brown in SweetTooth. Whereas Baby SweetTooth was a re-release, we never released Middle Name: Danger because we were waiting to work out the bugs of SweetTooth. Now that we have, we can release both, side-by-side, as they were meant to be, so you can be set for your baby girl’s blog or your baby boy’s blog (or both!).

On Demand

On Demand by Press75. Inspired by Hulu.com, the On Demand theme provides a fully featured Video solution.

newsScape

newsScape is the xScape based theme that is made for news or general blog websites. But, due to amount of features you can set, this theme can be made to be used for many different things.

newsScape is released with 12 base color styles. One color is changed with each style, and that one color can be set through control panel to generate new style. Theme also can utilize font settings for the theme including font family and font sizes. For front page you can use 2 different layouts: news and standard (archive like). For single post and page layouts there are also 2 layouts available, one of them showing the meta block on the left side of the post and that can be useful if you have many things to show there.

Arras-Theme

A stalwart of a magazine theme. Versatile and good looking.

Frugal

Next-generation WordPress Theme, gives you all the power and flexibility you need to get the job done.

Powerful, flexible, easy to configure, very little coding required.

Color Garden

Color Garden is a free theme released on Museum Themes under the GPLv3. This theme is jam-packed with features, from WordPress 3.0 functionality to Twitter integration. Color Garden uses WP3.0′s custom header option, and comes with 4 unique headers that accent the 4 color palette options available on the theme options page. We’ve also built in custom menus, custom backgrounds, and post thumbnails, hitting all the bases for cutting-edge WordPress functionality. If you use Twitter, we’ve got you covered there, too, integrating Twitter’s new Tweet button into our existing social sharing block on single post pages and providing options to display your latest tweets in the sidebar or the footer. The footer and sidebar are completely widgetized, and the footer has three distinct columns to add widgets. If that wasn’t enough, we’ve embedded a custom typeface in the header using CSS font-face. Each color palette has its own unique stylesheet, so you can easily use this theme as a framework or build child themes (or skins) for it.
